The ninth part of Michel Magnen's work — devoted to pairs of interpretations — represents a singular contribution to the theory of literary verisimilitude. Its bibliographical apparatus, gathered in Index IX, accompanies an extensive analysis of selected fragments.

For the moment, this passage remains available only in the original French edition. A faithful translation, requiring the meticulous care that the subject demands, is currently being prepared and will be made available here in due course.
